Meet Amy

Hello Neighbors,

My name is Amy Wiles, and I am running for Aurora City Council to represent Ward 2. I am not a politician; I am a dedicated community member focused on improving our neighborhood. Having lived in Aurora for 25 years, I am also a proud mother of two sons. I have always emphasized the importance of community engagement, volunteering, and giving back.

I have been actively involved in our community and look forward to serving our city on the council for the next four years. My past engagements with the city include:

2012 Women in Business - Women Making a Difference Nominee
2013 Leadership Aurora Graduate
2019 - Present: City of Aurora Human Relations Commissioner, Chairperson
2022 - Present: Community Advisory Council for the Aurora Police Department Consent Decree

Additionally, I am an active volunteer with Special Olympics Colorado and have previously volunteered with Brent's Place, Homes for Our Troops, and as a Big Sister. Professionally, I work in strategy and product development for a healthcare corporation and own a small photography business specializing in sports and senior photos.
